Keep blog up to date
Hi guys,
This is a website / admin suggestion, rather than a MD feature suggestion.
The last entry in the MD blog is dated early July, which isn't a great look. I recall several promises from Sean many months ago that the blog would be updated frequently. With now a few more staff, I'd like to hope this could happen. Some ongoing indication - even if only vague and general - of where things are at with development would do a lot to hold the confidence of us users, especially now when (as I understand) most energy is going into the iphone app and not much is visibly happening with the main desktop app.

I strongly second this suggestion. It's great to get rapid feedback from the support staff, that's a HUGE improvement over the situation a year ago. But with the long span of time since the last major release it would be very reassuring to hear from the developer more often about what is being worked on and what has been done/remains to be done for the next major release. Those of us who don't have iPhones are waiting for some concrete evidence that there is still hope of getting some attention to the long-standing problems and shortcomings of the main desktop application.
Just a few lines, once a week - that's all we're asking for.
Thanks for listening.
David

Agreed. Sean posted in the lastest blog that there will be a beta for 2010 coming soon, which is cool as hell, but why isn't that a blog entry?

You're all correct, and we are working on the problem. I'm not going to make any promises because I'm sure you've heard them from us before.
We're here, we're listening, we're working on providing updates more frequently, and we appreciate your suggestions and reminders.
