Save changes to transaction?
Hi,
Two comments about the "save changes to transaction" confirmation message box:
(1) This message box comes up every time I view the details of a "split" transaction. I don't think the "save changes" question is appropriate when I haven't made any changes.
(2) Sometimes this message box comes up when I have gone on to something else and forgot what transaction I was viewing. It would be helpful if the message box included a reminder of what transaction is being referenced, at least in cases where the highlighted transaction is no longer visible on the screen.
Thanks!

Brett, Thanks. These are both good ideas. I will share them with Sean, our developer.

I have a real problem with this. Since I am entering & correcting a lot of historical data, I am constantly checking the details of split transactions -- for instance to ensure that I put the correct dates in, as I am switching from US mmddyy to French ddmmyy. Each time I view then try to click away I am asked if I want to save the changes, but I haven't made any changes.
An additional comment: it would be nice if I we could use the right arrow to go from Yes to No or to Cancel on this window. The tab works, but not the arrows.

There is an existing ticket for this suggestion. Here is the link:

It's in the PaperCuts project and so hopefully should get worked on sooner rather than later.
Sincerely
Ben Spencer
