When sorting, have secondary sort deposit then payment
I dunno if it is possible or if it is already part of 2010, but when I sort by date I don't see a correlation for a secondary sort. That means that if I have a debit and deposit on the same day, and the debit takes my account into the negative, I see red!! Yikes!! Even though there was a deposit that day which counter acts the debit. To prevent this, it would be nice to have a secondary sort of deposit, then payment rate to prevent unnecessary red.
Thanks,
Alan

Dear Alan.
Thank you for your suggestions for improvements to Moneydance.
I do not believe this is currently a planned feature for Moneydance 2010, but it is certainly and excellent idea. Our wiki is integrated with our feature request and bug reporting system. Please feel free to register and use these systems to help improve Moneydance by bringing bugs to our attention and requesting new features. We now also have voting on all existing tickets, which helps us determine which requests have the most demand.
Please let me know if I can be of further assistance, and thank you for your interest in Moneydance.

Given the nastiness of some banks, and the urge to 'play safe', it'd be best to default to showing debits BEFORE credits - that way people avoid getting caught out. Of course, an option to reverse this would be relatively easy once the sort routine has been implemented.

Alan,
Thank you for creating this ticket. I agree that given the practices of some banks this could be a useful feature for some of our users, and will direct our developer's attention to this case.
Please let me know if I can be of further assistance, and thank you for your interest in Moneydance.
