Not a suggestion for Moneydance-- which I am just now trying to figure out how to use-- but for the FAQ. At http://help.infinitekind.com/faqs/frequently-asked-questions-2/how-... there is the statement:

"F) decimals - Be sure to enter the same number of decimals that are used in Yahoo Finance price reporting (in most cases this will be 2)"

It seems this is not correct, "decimals" here seems to refer to the number of shares, not the price. In the particular fund I am trying to add right now, shares are counted to 4 decimals but Yahoo Finance (and the fund company also) prices to 2 decimals. I find that I should have entered "4" to get the total to calculate properly.

So I suggest that you change "Yahoo Finance price reporting" to "your broker's share accounting."

I am using Moneydance 2010r2 (735) on Mepis 8.0.10
