Hello there, and thanks for a very useful application.

I'm a former MS Money user, and I'm looking for this functionality in MD.

I would like to be able to create a graph or a report with a cashflow forecast info that no only takes the transaction reminders into account, but a budget info as well. As you may figure out, not every expense has a related transaction reminder.

I find the balance predictor a good starting point for what I'm looking for, but it lacks the budget part.

Any suggestions?

I am also a former MS Money user (reformed 8 months now ), and the forecast extension is the one that I have found that is the closest to MS Money's cash flow graph. As I remember, you could choose from the budget or the scheduled bills in Money, but not both. I always used the scheduled bills and occasionally had a few transactions that had to be entered in the register.

The forecaster extension can be downloaded from:

    http://code.google.com/p/moneydance-forecaster/

It is different from the Balance predictor in that it will include transactions in the register (I enter a few transactions with a future date), and reminders. It will also do graphs of multiple accounts. If you hover over a line in the graph (at a change point), it will show the exact amount.

But as far as including the budget in cash flow, I don't know of anything.

This advice is quite sound. Please let me know if this does not resolve your issue, or if I can be of further assistance,
