shares bought
When entering a transaction in investments such as a 401K there is only 4 places right on the decimal point. In many transactions I need six and it then rounds off the number of shares bought which in turn corrupts the total number of shares owned. Is there a way around this or could this be a new fix? I am new to Moneydance, been a long time MS Money user that has recently switched to Apple.

Mark,
It is not an option to change the number of decimal places after the security has been created as this could have problematic consequences for existing transactions using that security. I am sorry to say this means you would have to create a new security with the desired number of decimal places and then recreate all transactions that use that security.
Tom
