Allow undo after accidental merge on transaction import / Be smarter about making merge default
With the new way of importing transactions (having a list of suggestions at the bottom), I sometimes merge new transactions accidentally into old ones, because I just hit enter and the "merge" option happens to be selected as default. This is very annoying, because I pretty much "lost" the transaction (it gets merged into the one that already existed) and have to enter it by hand. Undo does not bring the transaction back from the merge.
a) Those transactions are usually 2 weeks apart. If that's the
case, "merge" should not be the default.
b) Make such merges undo-able.
Thank you,
Clemens

I agree that this is a problem and there is an existing ticket suggestion to make merges undo-able. Here is the link to the ticket.

There is an option under File->Preferences->Network called "Only match downloaded transactions when they are at most N days apart" Change N to 14 if that is what you desire.

Thank you very much, Ben. My apologies for not looking close enough, I did not expect this option to be under "Network" (I import my transactions manually, as Canadian banks don't offer transaction download, unfortunately).
Thanks,
Clemens
