I am afraid that I got lazy with Quicken!
Would it be possible to automatically capitalize each word in
transaction descriptions please?

You can use Command ⌘ instead of Control ^ on Mac

I am afraid this is not an option in Moneydance. Do you want Moneydance to auto capitalize descriptions when you import your qif file or when you enter a transaction?

Only when I manually type in transactions. All downloaded transactions are
usually capitalised already.
