Hi Guy
We are currently working on a solution for iPhone app syncing that will use the dropbox application programming interface. The problem is a little more complicated than simply letting the app have full access to the file within dropbox as we need to allow of simultaneous modification of the data file and we are working on it.
Sincerely
Ben Spencer

fantastic! the mac program 1password was just updated to be able to store the key file in dropbox and now i can use my keys from anywhere, so i was hoping that moneydance would soon be able to do the same since they both should require similar (high!) levels of security.
great news ben. thanks!

Any further update on the Dropbox angle? I have been trying to set up the WiFi connection and hitting problems with the iphone not being recognised.

John,
We're still working on the Dropbox method of syncing, but it's not ready for release yet. We'll certainly be posting on our blog and the forums when it's ready for release. I'm sorry for the delay, we do understand this is a serious issue for some of our users.

OK. You seem to have a loyal base and I'm one of them. The desktop app is excellent and an app that sychs would be a major productivity help for me.
I've been using MD Desktop but only discovered the iphone app recently. It isn't mentioned on the www.moneydance.com homepage. Marketing please note!!

John,
I'm marketing, and I can't believe I didn't notice the ad not being on our homepage! We're in the midst of some website upgrades and I've asked our web designer to add the app to his list of things to publicize better.
Thanks for your loyalty, Moneydance's user base is one of my favorite things about this job!
