suggestions
Having used Moneydance for a couple of months now and probably because I am a UK user so don't have automatic connection to my banks, a couple of suggestions :
when merging downloaded transactions, would it be possible to update the date of the transaction to the date registered by the bank - i.e when it was cleared?
When entering a new transaction can we just enter day and month letting the program pick up the year. I have made a number of transactions for 2014!

Hi chris,
There is an existing thread on the bank transaction date issue. You can add your vote for it by posting to the thread:

For entering a date, when in the date field, try hitting the letter 't' key.. It'll automatically enter today's date.

Chris,
Kevin's advice is entirely correct. When entering dates, I personally hit "t" to make sure the date is today's date, and then navigate forward or back (tomorrow or yesterday) using the + and - keys.
Thanks for your input, and please do let me know if I can be of further assistance,
