category batch changes for more efficient category setup
Is there a way to do batch changes on categories? For example, to move a selected bunch of categories under a single "parent" category, or to delete a list of unused categories? If not, this would be very helpful to those of us making the transition for other software. I would also like to be able to see, at a glance, the currency associated with each category in the edit list (i.e. without having to select "edit" for each one).

What you describe is not currently possible in Moneydance. I have created a suggestion ticket for this functionality and linked the ticket to this discussion. By posting in this discussion you have voted for the ticket.
