edit function
When I reconcile checking, and discover that I have entered the wrong amount, the only way I find to edit is to delete the check and reenter it. Am I overlooking something?

You should be able to left click the transaction to highlight it and then use the Edit button located on the right pane under the words "Transaction Functions."

That doesn't work for me.
Left click highlights the transactions, however neither the words "Transaction Functions" nor an Edit button appear on the page.
If I right click the transaction I can use "Batch Change" for other changes, but not the amount of the check.
It's no big deal. Something I've needed two or three times since I started using MD last February.

Hi r miller,
If I understand you correctly, you want to be able to change the check number without first deleting it. To do so, you can highlight the txn and hit Enter. This will put the txn into Edit mode. TAB into the 'Check #' field. You can then use the plus + or minus - keys to change the check number to a higher or lower numeral.
