Auto category assignment
When reconciling bank statements in MD you have a useful function that among other things proposes a category based on previous history. Eg. when previous transaction showing 'Safeway' are categorized as 'groceries', a new Safeway transaction will also be categorized that way. Unfortunately, although the category is assigned correctly, the historical description also overwrites the existing one. I often want to keep the original description, which can have e.g. branch-specific or transaction-ID information included. You might consider allowing a user to choose to protect or over-write the description when assigning a category.
