Comments field in budget line items
The flexibility of the budget to have the same category referenced in multiple line items is an awesome capability. One I have never thought of, with a automated system, makes so much sense!
Missing though is the ability to have a comment about a line item. I keep using annual issues in my internal monologue, so... [ps. dates are d/m/y]
Auto:Registration 1/1/11 $700
Auto: Registration 1/3/11 $500
Auto :Registration 1/8/11 $700
Its great that each can be listed, but, at quick glance I cant tell why I have these line items. Being able to add a free form comment ("Wifes car", "My Car", "My motorbike") would help with visualising things are captured. This can of course be used in other line items such as monthly "My mobile", "wifes mobile". Though I personally would lump those 2 things into the current capabilities of MD, others may see a need to do it in this way.
This also relates somewhat to another recent suggestion about integrating budgetting and scheduling.

Thanks for your suggestion! I think it's a great idea, and hopefully we can get it into a future release. I have created a ticket for this issue. The ticket is attached to this discussion. By posting in this discussion your interest in the ticket has been registered. This is equivalent to voting for it. We'll let you know once it's been implemented.
