I would really like to be able to use batch edit and change things like the action field in investment accounts. This would really facilitate the clean up from importing from Quicken or other mistakes I make due to insufficient understanding of how things work.

Thanks

    Hi Mary

There is a 3rd party extension called "Find and Replace" which has many more option than the built in batch change function. I do not have much experience with it and I think that it might meet some of you needs. Here is the link to download it.

If you find it useful or not, I would be interested to hear about your experience.

    Sincerely

I have it and it is good but it doesn't allow a batch change for fields like the action either.

    Hi Mary

I'm going to leave this topic unresolved in the suggestions category and when the next iteration of the Moneydance development cycle begins this suggestion will considered for possible inclusion.

    Thanks for the feedback.

    Sincerely

    Ben Spencer
