1) If I understand you correctly, you'ld like to see the current
date highlighted on the pop-up calendar that appears when you click
in a date field. Although it's very difficult to see, the currently
chosen date IS actually highlighted in black and I agree with you
that a yellow highlight for Today's date would be useful. Having
said that, the easiest way to enter todays date in a date field is
to type the letter 'T' when the date field is highlighted. You can
also use the (+) or (-) keys to scroll through the date.
2) Again I agree with you that the placement of the New Transaction
button in conjuction to where it is entered in the register should
be closer. The best way to alleviate this is to use the keyboard
shortcut for a new txn. Ctrl-N for Windows or Cmd-N for Macs.
3) To add an account to the sidebar, use the (+) sign at the bottom
of the side bar.

I have put in a suggestion ticket for the high-lighted date in
the pop-up calendar.

You can also change the register to sort by descending date by
clicking the date field label. this will put the more recent
transactions at the top of the register.

On the tkt, apreciate it. Seems a little simple improvement but
truly helpful

On the transactions, I do sort them by date or clearance status,
still when entering a new one (of several) button is on top right,
nrw txn starts on low left.
