<p>I had my accounts really messed up due to switching banks, so I
decided to abandon my old register and start a new one. As a
result, I lost sync with the moneydance iPhone app, and had to
uninstall it and reinstall it to get it to give me a new sync
code.</p>
<p>Why not have it "Purge and start over" - via a command in a
submenu somewhere? I'd love to not have to delete and reinstall an
app to get it to reset.</p>

<p>The connection between the desktop program and the iPhone app is
data file specific, so I'm not sure if it's possible to have a
"purge and start over" command. I have, however, I have created a
ticket for this issue. The ticket is attached to this discussion.
