Don't name updates by the year
Like many users, I'm anxiously awaiting the 2009 release of MD
and excited about the possibility of great new features. The update
was originally scheduled for early this year, and but was
delayed.
Since there we are already almost half way through 2009, it might
be a good idea to stop naming releases according to they year. Just
call it MD version 7 or MD 688 or something. Somehow, I feel
cheated that I'm still using MD 08 five months into 09.

JP, That makes sense. I'll suggest it to Sean, our developer. He is hard at work on it (just to reassure you).
