2011 .deb has problems with Ubuntu 11.04
The Ubuntu software centre complains about the package. I've attached a screen-shot for your packages to look at.
An interesting side suggestion would be getting MoneyDance into the For Purchase part of the software centre. If you are interested I could find out who to talk to at Canonical.

Hi Tim,
We're aware of this issue and looking into solutions. Since the deb file works fine on other versions of Ubuntu, we think this may actually be a bug in the Ubuntu Software Center. As a workaround, if you just click "Ignore and Install", the installation works fine.
We'd love to be in the Ubuntu Software Center "For Purchase" section! We've actually been looking into it and were waiting until we launched Moneydance 2011 to start the process. However, thus far Canonical is making the process for applying less than obvious. If you'd like to contact them on our behalf, that might help the process along. I imagine the more users we have lobbying for us, the more likely we'll be able to get in.

I contacted Steve George at Canonical and he is keen to get Moneydance in the software centre. He said he would contact you guys, or get someone else too.

Hi Tim,
Do you have contact information for Mr. George or anyone in his area? I'd love to be able to contact him, instead of waiting for him to contact us. The more we push, the more likely we'll be able to get in!
