Page Setup for Report Printing
I added the extension for Detailed Budget. Works fine, with a
few rough spots. But when I try to print out the report I get a
single page with the whole thing jammed in to it. I've set up the
budget to show me the whole year, sub-totaled by month, and showing
the difference between budget and actual.
The report on the screen is rendered correctly, although I had to
do a lot of column sizing. It shows all twelve months of this
year.
But the printout crams it all into one landscape page in a type
size that even my most powerful magnifying glass can't make it
out.
In Quicken, there was a page set up ability to go either portrait
or landscape, and it also kept the column widths sized to be able
to read each. In order to keep the Quicken report to a manageable
number of pages, you adjusted the type size. Generally 55% worked
and the whole year would fit across the page, with several pages
required to cover all the categories of income and expense.
I cannot figure out how to set up a report to print out clearly
delineating each column as to be readable.
Any ideas??
Thanks in advance
Dan

Starting Moneydance 2011 (791)
Settings Folder: Redacted
OS: Mac OS X 10.5.8 ppc
Java: 1.5.0_28 (Apple Inc.)
I get the same problem. See Pictures.
In Picture 3, Print, Layout option does not work. It is stuck in one position.

Dan,
I apologize for the lateness of our reply. We've been very busy with lots of new users for Moneydance 2011 and helping them switch over, that we've gotten a bit behind.
Unfortunately, I can't be too helpful for your problem. Detailed budget is a third party extension and the developers of Moneydance are not involved in the writing of the program. This is a link to where the project is managed. I'll point out that the people who work on this do it as volunteers in their free time, so its hard to say how responsive they may be.
Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance,
Jon Hoover, Moneydance Support
