<h2>I would like it to give me a report of what it did in a
separate window something like this:</h2>
<p>For Account: Discover xxx<br>
Total Records Processed: 905<br>
Total Records Matched to Existing Transactions: 890 that did not
get added to the register.<br>
Total Records Added to Register: 15</p>
<p>List of records added to Register:</p>
<p>Meijer's store <a href="/discussions/suggestions/554" title=

<p>The first time Moneydance downloads transactions, it asks for
everything the bank is willing to send. For most banks, this is the
last 90 days of transactions. After that, Moneydance will only ask
for transactions from the few days. This is why, when you tried to
re-download those older transactions, they didn't show up. They
were past the re-download window that Moneydance uses. To get older
transactions like that, your best bet is to go to your bank's
website and download an OFX file in the date range you are looking
for.</p>
<p>When you click "Reset Sync," you told Moneydance to forget that
it had ever downloaded anything from Discover and again ask for
everything again. This is why you got so many
transactions...Discover sent everything from the last 90 days (or
whatever their window is).</p>
<p>You can compare your downloaded transactions to the ones already
confirmed in your register by using the Split Windows function. If
you click on the Split icon in the upper right corner of your
register (next to the New Transaction button), your register will
split into two. Unconfirmed, downloaded transactions will be in the
bottom pane and confirmed transactions will be in the top.</p>
<p>Hope that helps. Please let me know if I can be of further
assistance, and thanks for your interest in Moneydance!</p>
