Need hyperlinks in Reminders

More and more of my accounts are switching to on-line statements. The big problem is that many of them have no OFX link, so I have to remember every month to download the statement from their website.

It would be great if I could setup hyperlinks and instructions on what to do in the Memo field of a general reminder. Then, Moneydance would remind me to get the statement, I could click on the link, have it launch my browser and then I could follow the instructions that I never remember from month to month for each different account.

I find it to be unfortunate that many financial institutions do not yet support direct Connect with OFX. And I understand that in many ways Direct Connect OFX is not in their interest. If the user has to go through their web page they have the opportunity to advertise and entice you into various special offers that make them money and reinforce customer loyalty.

I have created a ticket for this feature request on the trac site. Here is the link.

This does not guarantee that it will be implemented but does give users the opportunity to log in and vote to support it.

+1 vote for this. I often put "notes" to myself in the memo field to help remind me what to do with various transactions (i.e. "Auto-pay", "Manual Online Pay", "Write Check") and having hyperlinks would be extremely helpful.

I've attached the ticket to this thread, so these votes have been registered and you will be notified when further progress on this issue is made.
