Moneydance, sum of highlighted items

Hi all,

I'd like to suggest that Moneydance show a summary of highlighted
entries (Excel and Google Sheets does this). It would help me with
expenses. For example, on expense report "Chicago", I know that
I'm expensing entries 1-10. I'd like to simply highlight those entries, and
see a quick sum of those entries to sanity-check my expense report
that I'm submitting.

It would also help for quick, ad-hoc questions where I could highlight
several entries to see "How much did I spend total on entry #1, #3 and #10"

    Hi,

Have you looked at the Find and Replace extension. It can do what you are describing.

For accounts that you may want to check on often, you can save the settings and recall them from the 'Memorized...' drop-down list at the top of the window.
