suggestion - highlight a transaction with color
Hi. I would love the ability to right-click on a single transaction and highlight it by a certain color.
Background: My workflow is that I keep physical receipts for everything that goes through my checking account. I ask my wife to do the same. Every couple of days I take all of those receipts and enter them into MoneyDance. I then download transactions from my bank and clear/merge the transactions. Every once in a while a transaction will come through that hasn't been entered into MoneyDance. Either it is fraudulent, or my wife forgot to give me the receipt. I will go ahead and clear it but I would like to highlight it (in yellow maybe) so that I can go back and see why I didn't have a receipt for it. Once the reason has been determined I will then remove the yellow from the transaction.
I know there is the option for "mark as reconciling" but this uses the same field as the cleared/uncleared flag.

Hi Michael,
Thanks for the suggestion for improving Moneydance! There's an existing ticket in our system regarding the ability to tag transactions with colours, so I've attached it to this discussion and the developers will be looking into it. We'll notify you of any updates within the thread.
Sorry for an inconvenience; please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
