I am currently using Microsoft Money Plus and want to convert to Moneydance. Can my Money files be imported into Dance to preserve historical data?

    Hi Phillip,

Take a look at this Moneydance KB article.
    http://help.infinitekind.com/kb/importing-data-from-other-programs/...

As someone who has gone through this, I can say that it's not entirely trivial (depending on how complex your finances are)

If I may make a suggestion and if you haven't done so already, download the free, trial-version of Moneydance to see if it suits your needs and see if you can successfully import your MS Money data.

You can d/l the free, trial-version here:

I continue to use MS Money along side of Moneydance as something of a checks and balances.

There is a free, program called Pocketsense that allows MS Money users to continue to update stock quotes and perform direct-connect imports from those financial institutions that provide such servers. It essentially restores MS Money to it's original functionality.

If you're interested, here's a link to the developer's website.
