There is a 100 transaction limit on manually entered transactions in the trial-version of Moneydance.

There is however no limit on imported transactions. This provision is specifically to allow users to test the abilities of the program to import their data from other programs (e.g. Quicken) and / or from their financial institutions.

Moneydance exclusively uses direct-connect to import data automatically. Here is a link to the list of supported financial institutions.

If your bank is not supported, Moneydance can manually import OFX, OFC, QFX and QIF file formats into most any account type. It can also import formatted CSV and TXT file formats into Bank and Credit Card accounts.

Most financial institutions provide one or more of the above-mentioned formats.

To use moneydance in trial mode you just have to download it from:

Install it and away you go.
