using?

I have my merrill lynch account set up in quicken, It is a
brokerage account( but really a checking account). I want to import
this account history. When I do the export it will not bring over
the brokerage data only another account that is labeled as a
checking account. However the brokerage data will export into a csv
file.

I think my next approach is to try downloading form merrill
lynch

any suggestions are appreciated

Alice Williamstag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/389402292016-01-17T16:10:11Z2016-01-17T16:10:11Zimporting from quicken for mac

Are you using the export to .QMTF file and then rename as QIF
trick? Or does your version of Quicken support directly exporting
to QIF?

account not my brokerage account(which is also a checking account).
I cannot locate a parameter to select accounts

I am so impressed thanks

Alice Williamstag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/389402292016-01-17T16:37:48Z2016-01-17T16:37:48Zimporting from quicken for mac

The QTFM format doesn't fully support investment accounts. As
far as I know it is not possible to transfer investment accounts
from Quicken 2016 to Moneydance. Quicken used to have an export to
QIF option to export all accounts but they removed this in
2015.

microsoft money or spreadsheets and text. I tried downloading as a

did not import, any other suggestions how to get data from merrill
lynch to money dance

Alice Williamstag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/389402292016-01-17T16:58:07Z2016-01-17T16:58:07Zimporting from quicken for mac

Microsoft Money files are OFX (Open Financial Exchange) files.
These are by far the best format. I suggest giving that a try.
