    Hi Philip,

You can export your data from MS Money, and import into Moneydance by following the steps in this article -

If you haven't already, I encourage you to download our free trial version and experiment with the program before you decide if you would like to purchase it. The demo version is fully functional and allows you to manually enter 100 transactions. Imported transactions are not limited, so you'll be able to fully test importing your data.

If you decide to purchase the program at a later date you can keep all your data, the license key simply unlocks the ability to manually enter more transactions. You can download the trial version of Moneydance from here -

I would also recommend checking out the User Guide, which has lots of useful information about getting started and setting up your accounts.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance, and thank you for your interest in Moneydance!

    Hi Jenny,

What are the upgrade options when new releases come out if I buy?

Is there a new release due out soon?

    Hi Phil,

When you purchase Moneydance, we will never ask you to upgrade. If you purchase Moneydance 2015, you can continue to run this version for as long as you wish.
However, the next version of Moneydance will be free for you when it becomes available, and any further upgrades will be discounted for you.

Our team are currently working on Moneydance 2016, but we don't yet have a release date, and we're not ready to announce any new features until it's ready to release.
