I recently purchased Quicken 2016 and have not been able to get it
to work on my Windows 10 system. I have installed and re-installed
several times and have spent way too much time in chats with their
support people trying to get it to work. They claim it is an issue
with .NETFramework 4.0. Win 10 comes with .NET 4.6 and won't allow
4.0 to install. Will your software run without any issues on
Windows 10?

I am looking for simple home bookkeeping software that will give
me a check register, allow easy reconciliation of checking accounts
with the bank statements, and categorize expenses to make it easier
at tax time. Will MoneyDance do this?

Can I download and try MoneyDance before purchasing? I

Thank you,

As Kevin pointed out, we offer a free trial version that will
allow you to experiment with the program before you decide if you
would like to purchase it. The demo version is fully functional and
allows you to manually enter 100 transactions. Imported
transactions are not limited, so you'll be able to fully test
connections with your bank. If you decide to purchase the program
at a later date you can keep all your data, the license key simply
unlocks the ability to manually enter more transactions. You can
download the trial version of Moneydance from here:

I will give it a try!

Rick Bernardtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/390523052016-02-02T01:42:44Z2016-02-02T01:42:45ZMoneyDance

Well, as fate would have it, my brand new install of QuickBooks
Pro has quit after a Windows 10 update yesterday. I tried setting
up a second account in the trial of MoneyDance and added several
new accounts and categories and it looks pretty good for a small
business application as well.

There seems to be many reports available, but I don't see a
Balance Sheet which is a critical report for a business. Is there a
way to create this report or add this function into MoneyDance?

Rick Bernard
