networking
I have been using Microsoft Money Plus Sunset for years on my home LAN network. Now I have replaced one of my old PC laptops with a Macbook Pro. Is your program networkable and will it work Microsoft PCs and my Mac, If so, how would I do this?

Hi Dennis,
Moneydance will indeed function on Windows PC's, Apple Macs, and even Linux PC's, and you'll be able to share your data between each. If you haven't already, I encourage you to download our free trial version and experiment with the program before you decide if you would like to purchase it. The demo version is fully functional and allows you to manually enter 100 transactions. Imported transactions are not limited, so you'll be able to fully test connections with your bank. If you decide to purchase the program at a later date you can keep all your data, the license key simply unlocks the ability to manually enter more transactions. You can download the trial version of Moneydance from here:

For more information on how to get the most out of your trial period, check out our blog post on the subject.
To share your data set between multiple computers running Moneydance (as opposed to a computer running Moneydance syncing to your iOS or Android devices), you need to move your data set to a folder that's shared by the two computers. We recommend using your Dropbox folder and you can do so by following the directions in this knowledge base article:
http://help.infinitekind.com/kb/moneydance-2014/how-to-move-your-da...
to move your data set to your Dropbox folder, then open the data set from there on each computer (only on one at a time, to avoid corruption) and your data will sync between the two computers.
Please let us know if we can be of further assistance!
