Is it possible to import Quicken (.QDF) files into the Money dance software?

QDF files can only be read by Intuit products, it is a proprietary format and has also been known to have been changed over time.
It is necessary to export the data from Quicken, historically QIF format files have been used to migrate the raw transactions between products. This is because this is one of the few universal formats that is suitable for financial data.

Hi Tom,
If you're exporting your data from Quicken, we'd always recommend exporting as a QIF file, as Des has explained. You can follow the instructions in this article which details how to export as a QIF file and import to Moneydance.
If this export format is not possible, please let me know which format options are available to you.
If you haven't already, I encourage you to download our free trial version and experiment with the program before you decide if you would like to purchase it. The demo version is fully functional and allows you to manually enter 100 transactions.
Imported transactions are not limited, so you'll be able to fully test importing your data.
If you decide to purchase the program at a later date you can keep all your data, the license key simply unlocks the ability to manually enter more transactions. You can download the trial version of Moneydance from here - http://infinitekind.com/downloads

Thank you all for the information. I did as you suggested and exported my quicken file as a qif file. I was able to import them into Money with a few minor problems. Thanks for now and I am sure I will have some questions moving forward.
Best Regards,
