<p>Quicken data files (and that includes the backup files) are in a proprietary format and only Quicken can read them.</p>
<p>When migrating between personal finance programs it is necessary to export the data into a universal format and then use this for the import of data. While it is far from complete the best format to use is QIF. You therefore need to use Quicken itself to export the transaction data into one or more QIF files. Moneydance can import QIF files and use them to help create the needed structure and load your transaction data.</p></div>dwg
