Need to start again
im just experimenting to switch from MS money but its doing weird things and I want to start again. For the life of me (and Ive trued all the help stuff already printed) I cant find the data files, and evertime i reinstall it still sucks up the same rubbish from before. I just want a completely clean new page to start again. Any ideas?

Hi Simon,
If you're moving from MS Money, we'd recommend following the steps in this article which details exporting your data from MS Money and importing to Moneydance.
Can you confirm if you have followed the steps in this article to delete your unwanted data set? Please let me know if you encounter any issues during this process.

"right Clicking" (or Alt click) on the tool bar doesn't open anything for me (Im on OX 10.7.5 if that helps)

Hi Simon,
Can you try 'Cmd' and click, and ensure you're clicking on the name of the data set in the title bar.

Yes I have but it doesn't reveal anything new.
Whats happening is that when I Import the data from my main bank account (which goes back to 2000 - so a lot of data ) it doesn't appear as a list of transactions within the account, but rather opens dozens of new accounts - all historical old stuff like old credit cards etc - all with massive balances.

Hi Simon,
We can remove the entire data set at once, which will be easier than removing the transactions and accounts separately.
Can you go to Help --> Show Documents Folder, and see if you can locate your data set there.
