Unable to open Quicken to transfer account information
Good morning! I recently added Moneydance to be my new financial accounting system and due to failure of Quicken to open to import the data I am trying to import my data from my flash drive's QDF file. I have NO way of retreiving my data from Quicken, there is a fatal flaw and it cannot be opened. Can I transfer data from my QDF file, and if not, what other options do I have? Thank you!

No I am afraid not. Moneydance cannot read a QDF file directly. The only way to transfer data from Quicken to Moneydance is to open the QDF file with Quicken and export to a QIF file. The QIF file can then be imported into Moneydance.

Thank you for your quick reply Ben. My problem continues because I can’t open Quicken at all. Each time I try I get a QuckenWindow has stopped working error message and after days of trying and support help I still can’t get it to open. I’ll have to start over with Moneydance. Thanks for trying though!
