Quicken import

I have tried to import a quicken qif file. I sort of works but there are many errors. I am not sure how I go about fixing them, or should I start all over?

The installation did not generate a desktop Icon.april

   Hi Robert,

   Can you confirm you followed the steps in this article when importing your data? If not, I would recommend starting again with these steps and you can let me know if you encounter any issues.

   If you can provide more information about how your data appears to be incorrect once imported, we can try to establish whats causing the problems.

   If you're new to Moneydance, I'd also highly recommend checking out the User Guide, specifically the first few chapters which detail getting started and setting up your accounts.

   I followed those steps, several times. Results are not good. The problem may very well be with my quicken account. I have transactions going back to 1978. I want to cancel this program and request a refund. I will delete it from my computer as soon as you confirm cancelation. I wish it worked as I want to be done with Quicken but It is not to be for now at least.
