I am a long-time Quicken user transitioning to Moneydance. I exported my Quicken data into one QIF, and imported it into Moneydance. This was after reading the User Manual tips and the website tips. It was a fairly smooth process. I had some things to fix in each bank account but that was fairly simple.
My investment accounts are more complicated - every transaction is duplicated. While a simple fix is to go and delete every other transaction, this manual process will be quite laborious as I have thousands of transactions.
The User Manual suggests using Find and Replace for this issue - I installed the extension but I can't figure out how to find duplicates with this. There does not seem to necessarily be any common characteristic of the duplicated transactions that differentiate them from the "originals". Any tips to remove these duplicates?
