Just to make sure, are you following the import instructions at: https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/kb/importing-data-from-other-pro...?

The most common reason for what you describe would be that you have one of the filters at the top of the register enabled, some of which would filter out recent transactions from the active view. Try clicking on the All button to see if that helps.

Moneydance it had found my Quicken file and opened it. The "all" filter
button has been selected and still no 2020 transactions.

In almost all circumstances, users will first need to export their data in the QIF format from Quicken, and then import the data following the instructions in the link that I gave. If you didn't do this, I'm not sure what exactly Moneydance opened. It could have been some backup export, download from your bank, or something else. Can you try going to File -> New from the menu bar to create a new data file, and go through the outlines import process? If you need to get back to the file you currently have open, you can go to File -> Open to switch between files.

will create another one and proceed per the instructions. Thank you for
your time. I appreciate it.
