Null Account
When I exported from Quicken into MoneyDance, MD created a (null_) account which has old transactions, primarily transfers between my savings and checking accounts.
In can't find any information on (null) in the knowledge base that helps solve the problem.
Why did MoneyDance do that? Can I delete it?
Thank you!

When you export from Quicken, you need to make sure you have re-opened all closed account first. You can mark them as inactive once they are in Moneydance, but the historical information needs to transfer correctly. Not doing this is probably what caused the null account.
We have detailed instructions on transferring from Quicken on our website here. There are some errors that can happen in the importing process that are prevented by following the instructions on that page.

You can delete the account by clicking on it and then selecting the "Account->Delete Account" menu option. However, if the account has any transfer transactions in it, that will throw off the balances of your other accounts. You should check carefully before deleting it.
