checking register
I am trying to compare Moneydance with ibank before I purchase
Moneydance. I have exported my ibank files to Moneydance and I see
several problems. in my checking register I see many duplications.
As I bring up my other accounts, i.e.:AMEX, etc., the registers
show me my checking register not the various accounts. Please
help.
John

Hi John,
Did you import your data from a QIF file, using these instructions:
http://help.infinitekind.com/kb/importing-data-from-banks-and-other-programs/importing-data-from-quicken-in-qif-format
To clarify, when you change accounts, the data is the same? Or are you unable to change accounts?
Can you send me the output of your console log? This can be found by going to Help -> Console window in Moneydance, then clicking the "Copy to clipboard" button and pasting the output to us here.

Hi John,
Thanks for the logs! Everything looks like it's in order there.

The data is the same for all my accounts.

Hi John,
Unfortunately it sounds like iBank creates QIF files slightly differently than Quicken, which doesn't import properly into Moneydance. Also unfortunately, I don't have a work around for importing your data.
I'm sorry I don't have better news!
