I just tried the free version of Ace Money. I followed the instructions but the transactions did not download properly after three attempts of uninstalling and uninstalling. Will I have the same issue with Money Dance? The transactions seemed to be there but the balances were not close.

    Hi Kenneth,

If you haven't already, I encourage you to download our free trial version and experiment with the program before you decide if you would like to purchase it. The demo version is fully functional and allows you to manually enter 100 transactions. Imported transactions are not limited, so you'll be able to fully test importing your data from Quicken.

You can follow the steps in this article which details how to export your data in QIF format and import to Moneydance.

If you decide to purchase the program at a later date you can keep all your data, the license key simply unlocks the ability to manually enter more transactions. You can download the trial version of Moneydance here.

If you encounter any problems when importing your data, I'd be happy to help you get these resolved. If this is the case, please provide information about how your accounts/transactions appear incorrectly and we'll work to get this fixed.
