all balances incorrect except checking

I downloaded my QIF file from Quicken but the only account that is correct is my checking. It has my mortgage as a liability but every payment has increased my balance! I followed the instructions for exporting a large quicken file in one qif file from your manual. But I can't devote days in trying to figure out how to get my balances correct. Can you give me any more advice? I've printed out your manual.

Also how do I change the parent for an account?
