see the small dots on lower left of desktop. New to me. I guess
that's why it would not display the rest of MD on full screen.

Items #1 and #3 still need help in 5:04 posting. Disregard item
#2.

I'm terribly sorry for our delayed response! Somehow your
inquiry slipped through the cracks.

Moneydance is most likely in your Downloads folder, so you
should be able to drag it into your Applications folder from
there.

If you want to make a duplicate (backup) of your data set, then
the easiest way to do so is to go to File -> "Export Backup",
then save the file to your flash drive.

The new file was in the downloads folder. It did not want to
drag, so I moved it in Finder. Finder told me there was already a
file in the Application folder called Moneydance and asked if I
wanted to replace or keep both. I kept both. The 2015 icon no
longer shows in the Downloads Folder. Resulting files in the
Application folder are as follows:

“Moneydance”
dated May 2010
7.6 MB “application"… very small file
suspect they are related to the old 2010 icons that are still in my
dock and in the application file

“Moneydance copy”
dated March 2015
189 MB application..
boots and displays apparently correct data from the dock icon, and
also...
boots and displays apparently correct data from the icon in the
Application folder.

QUESTION: It seems I should clean up the Application names.
Maybe delete the old 2010 application ?? If so how should I
proceed.

QUESTION: After getting rid of the 2010 file I could rename the
new application from “Moneydance Copy” to "Moneydance
2015” or maybe just to “Moneydance” ? I
don’t want the program to lose its path messing with these
names. How should I proceed ?

Thanks for all you do.

You should delete the older version of Moneydance and rename
your new one to just "Moneydance." You can delete the old one by
simply moving it to the Trash.
