EDIT: I see now that you say from Quickbooks. That may be more of an issue, Can quickbooks export to a QIF file? I don't know.

Just a user here; basically you need to export a QIF file from the Quicken data, and then import that QIF file into Moneydance.

I'm sure someone will post detailed instructions soon, but you may also be able to find how to create and use the QIF file in the knowledge base.

    I'm a fellow user.

As far as I am aware Quickbooks cannot export QIF files.

Quickbooks is aimed as Business accounting, whereas Moneydance is geared towards Personal financial management, so there are fundamental differences in the market the two programs are aimed at and hence in the functionality of the two programs. For example moneydance does not support things like Debtors, creditors, Inventory, payroll, invoicing.
