Hi mschmitt

Try updating to Moneydance 2021(2008) from https://infinitekind.com/preview
There was a bug in 2021(2006)

Hope this helps

derekkent23tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/487903872020-11-01T23:15:20Z2020-11-01T23:15:23ZNullPointerException on import of Quicken 2007 QIF

That fixes the import error. I'm surprised they're still delivering build 2006 as the standard download.

mschmitttag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/487903872020-11-02T03:50:25Z2020-11-02T03:54:02ZNullPointerException on import of Quicken 2007 QIF

a user here - I think the 2021 release was a bit premature, as they are still fixing bugs, and it would have been better to have waited for a truly stable release.

I'm personally still using 2020.2(1929) and am quite happy to wait until they get to a 2021 release that is not actually a beta test (imo).

If you are testing the QIF import, and want to avoid the "beta test", I suggest downloading the last 2020 version and working from there to see if the product works for you.

(There are no QIF import improvements in 2021)

dtdtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/487903872020-11-02T08:12:29Z2020-11-02T08:12:29ZNullPointerException on import of Quicken 2007 QIF

In am not support staff, just a user.
Hi

2021(2008) at https://infinitekind.com/preview has no significant bugs and fixes some that exist in 2020.2(1929) and certainly some that exist in 2021(2006).

It up to the user what version/build they use.

Hope this helps.

derekkent23tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/487903872020-11-02T21:13:10Z2020-11-02T21:14:09ZNullPointerException on import of Quicken 2007 QIF

My impression is the 2021 release is still (2006), which is what most people would download. My comments were based upon that, even if the original poster was directed to 2008 (a preview/beta release)

dtd
