Auto Update Values

Hello. I've used MS Money for many years, and it used to update values of investments automatically, although this was stopped when Microsoft ceased supporting the program. I purchased Moneydance a few years ago knowing that it could do the same. However, I just could not figure out in simple terms how this was achieved, and stopped using it. I'm again thinking of using Moneydance, and I'm asking if, in simple terms, how this is done. For example, I hold 45,000 units in the 7IM Select Balanced Fund and its ISIN is GB00BJ0C8B58 and its Sedol is BJ0C8B5. Can you help please? Thanks, Robert

   It's easy! Each security has a Security master record. You edit this and set the Ticker symbol to the ISIN (GB00BJ0C8B58) number.

   Install the Quote Loader extension

   I set the source to FT and automatic updates at 9am daily....

   Support articles for setting up Investment accounts can be found at https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/kb/investment-accounts

   Once you have set up your investments you can obtain prices using the extension Quote Loader which can be found under EXTENSIONS – MANAGE EXTENSION

   In the screen shot you can see the price returned for your example Security.
