<p>In short you don't.</p>
<p>The reconciliation is about marking off transactions between what you have in Moneydance and what is on a bank statement as well as making sure that the balance corresponds based on the reconciled transactions.</p>

I'm switching from quicken and in that program, it had starting and ending dates, so only those transactions came up that were in those dates. Once, I change my thinking, I git it.
