I have just switched to moneydance from quicken. How do I customize the dates to reconcile my acct? I only allows me to put in the ending stmt date when I select reconcile.

    I'm a fellow user.

    In short you don't.

The reconciliation is about marking off transactions between what you have in Moneydance and what is on a bank statement as well as making sure that the balance corresponds based on the reconciled transactions.

Limiting the transactions used would make this impossible.

I understood it once I realized it's more like balancing it manually.  I'm switching from quicken and in that program,  it had starting and ending dates, so only those transactions came up that were in those dates. Once, I change my thinking, I git it. Thanks for your reply!
