Importing from Microsoft Money in qif
Hi
Please help I have just purchased Moneydance and have carefully read how to transfer accounts etc.
However as I had tried out Moneydance there were some trial entries have managed to delete most but am left with just one
shown as main bank account. Have deleted it but details still appear.
s this is shown as parent to all banka counts must delete it. before I start importin should I uninstall and start again ?

Hi Roger,
You don't need to uninstall the program to start from scratch. You can go to Moneydance File --> New to create a new blank data set, and File --> Open to move between them.
If your data is stored in the default location, you can access it within Moneydance Help --> Show Documents Folder. Then follow these steps to close Moneydance, locate and delete the file, and re-open Moneydance, and the specified data should be removed.
When moving from MS Money, I'd recommend following the steps in this article to export as QIF and import to Moneydance.
