I am attempting to import data from Countabout which allows you to export the data in a csv format. When I tried to do this, I received the following error. WHat would you suggest.

Might be if you are trying to create multi level accounts in one pass

    e.g. Bills:Gas and neither exist..

It general it comes down to what the structure of the CSV files is. You have to be explicit in what you tell Moneydance the format of the CSV files are in when you are importing them otherwise the import will fail. CSV is a very general table format so there is no predefined layout for the data.

I would suggest posting a CSV file that you are having problems with then we can see if it is suitable for importing and if so the exact settings that are needed to import the file.
