Account Misclassification
Some of the accounts that come from Banktivity have been misclassified. In particular, I have a couple of mortgage accounts that were imported as liability accounts. I set up a new loan account, but I am not able to choose my new load account to import transactions. Is there a way to get around this, or can I change the nature of an account after it has been set up?
Many thanks. So far, this is going really well!
Andreas

I'm a fellow user.
A loan account in Moneydance is designed and intended to work as an automatic account with payments made via a special type of transaction reminder. This account type you cannot import data into.
If you have a loan that you want to work more like a traditional account that you want to make entries in, import data etc you would set it up as a liability account, as a loan is just a specific type of liability.
