thought I saw where I could import my quicken file but don't see the files used by MD to import and my quicken uses a .qdf for the pgm.
So is it a yes or no?

    I'm a fellow user.

Quicken files (QDF) are in a proprietary format hence no other vendor's software can directly read these files.

It is necessary to use Quicken itself to export the raw transaction data into one or more QIF files, if possible, and preferably one file. These files can be processed by Moneydance and many other programs.

If you version is not showing QIF as a possible export format then we need to look at what other alternatives are possible.
